This was one of my most anticipated movies of 2024, and the marketing team did a phenomenal job advertising for this movie. While it was very good, it was slightly overhyped in my opinion. I didn't find it particularly scary, but it did make me feel quite unsettled at times. Very good execution for what it was, and Nicolas Cage did a fantastic job in his role. I would have appreciated less satanic themes, but that's probably my only gripe. The sound design, costume design for Longlegs, and cinematography were all top notch, making this one of the best horror movies of the year, but I would not say the scariest. Overall, I would definitely recommend this movie, but just know the motives of the killer revolve around the devil and evil (think similarly to the movie Se7en) so keep that in mind. The movie is in no way glorifying it though.
