REVIEW
Wow. This movie was a roller coaster. It had a dark tone overall and was quite creepy at moments. This movie is about a violinist who someone blinded and was put into a home where she didn't know anyone and is being taken care of by a man that she has never met before. She starts to realize that she can't trust anyone. This movie covers the topics of suicide and abuse. The language isn't that bad but does include one F-bomb.
PARENTS GUIDE
Violence and Scary Elements - 8/10
A few jumpscares. A brief sequence of a woman with her eyes gouged out, dripping blood. It ended up just being a dream. You see a scar on a woman's face after hearing her being yelled at by her "husband," presumably due to abuse. The main character attempts suicide twice, once from pills (ended up not trying after all) and the other from jumping off of a balcony. People get punched and tazed and heads bashed with wooden knife blocks. The whole movie has a very weird and dark tone that will leave you feeling cold. The main character flashes back on a tense sequence of an anonymous person blinding her and beating her. There is threatening talk and stories of people and birds getting killed.
Sex - 2/10
